随着“海上保护神”妈祖诞辰日(农历三月二十三)的临近，“妈祖故里”福建省莆田市湄洲岛上的湄洲妈祖祖庙又格外热闹起来。
台湾台南善化庆安宫、印尼泗水惹班福善宫、新加坡兴安天后宫等世界各地的妈祖宫庙及其信众，不约而同携分灵妈祖回到湄洲祖庙谒祖进香，俗称“天下妈祖回娘家”。与此同时，湄洲祖庙妈祖又分灵到了秘鲁、新加坡、印尼等地。
“灵妃一女子，瓣香起湄洲。”南宋著名文学家刘克庄写下的诗句，道出了妈祖信仰发源的史实。妈祖，原名林默，公元960年“生于莆之海上湄洲”，后因救助海难而捐躯，自宋以来获历代褒封。当地人感其生前扶危济困、舍己救人的大德，立庙奉祀。
湄洲祖庙始建于公元987年，是世界上第一座妈祖庙，已被列为海峡两岸交流基地和中国华侨国际文化交流基地。湄洲妈祖祖庙传媒处副主任张丽明告诉中新社记者，湄洲祖庙为仿宋建筑群落，拥有五座主祀庙宇、16座殿堂楼阁和99间斋舍客房，形成了如“海上布达拉宫”般的建筑群；正是台湾妈祖信众的大力支持，这一建筑群才得以迅速恢复重建。
湄洲祖庙山顶，一尊高14.35米、由365块花岗岩石组成的妈祖石雕像高高矗立。站在妈祖石雕像下抬头仰望，第一次跨海前来朝圣的台胞王建杰惊叹不已，“一到祖庙，便被这里的美景所吸引，忍不住举起手机拍下来”。
“湄洲祖庙是心灵原乡。”于台湾彰化埔心圣玄会妈宫宫主林宜宏而言，海峡两岸人同根、神同源，文化一脉相承，妈祖信俗是两岸同胞情感交流的桥梁与纽带。
妈祖信俗早已融入台湾民众的生活。在台湾，妈祖宫庙达3000多座，信众占台湾总人口的三分之二，每年“三月疯妈祖”盛况空前。
湄洲祖庙天后宫内，清朝雍正皇帝御笔亲书的“神昭海表”匾额高悬，从海内外回来的一尊尊妈祖神像驻跸于此。
“妈祖文化发源于莆田，在历史的长流里孕育出丰厚的文化底蕴，并在千年深厚的历史积淀里，成为两岸人民的文化共识。”莆田学院妈祖文化研究院台籍教授林孟蓉认为，海洋文化的流动性将妈祖打造为具有世界性的“海上和平女神”，扩大了妈祖的文化圈。
2009年9月，以妈祖祭典为主要内容的“妈祖信俗”被联合国教科文组织列入人类非物质文化遗产代表作名录，成为中国首个信俗类世界遗产。截至目前，全世界从湄洲祖庙分灵出去的妈祖宫庙有一万多座，遍及50个国家和地区，妈祖信众达3亿多人。
秘鲁是湄洲祖庙妈祖分灵地的新成员。在今年3月的妈祖分灵仪式上，秘鲁莆田商会秘书长陈景勇说，将湄洲妈祖分灵至秘鲁，希望妈祖文化成为秘中两国人民友好往来的桥梁。
近年来，湄洲妈祖金身重走“海丝路”，已赴新加坡、马来西亚、菲律宾、泰国等地巡安。湄洲妈祖祖庙董事会董事长林金赞表示，祖庙将聚焦“妈祖信俗”保护这一主题，开展以“妈祖祭典”“天下妈祖回娘家”“湄洲妈祖巡天下”等为重点的信俗固态保护、活态传承，当好妈祖信俗的“传承人”。
最近，由湄洲妈祖祖庙董事会出品的短视频《守望千年》在海内外“刷屏”，以“立德、行善、大爱”为核心精神的妈祖文化跨越时空，在转发、点赞的“指间”传承传播。(完)
